Celeste Poltak Awarded the 2024 OBA Award for Excellence in Class Actions

We are delighted to announce that Celeste Poltak has been named as the recipient of the 2024 Ontario Bar Association’s Award for Excellence in Class Actions.

This prestigious honour is awarded annually to recognize an outstanding member of the OBA for exceptional achievements and distinguished service in the field of class action law. Recipients demonstrate the highest level of professional competence, integrity, civility, leadership, and commitment to the community at large. They are also instrumental in the development of class action law through advocacy, teaching, writing, speaking, volunteering, pro bono work and contributions to legislative reform.

The award will be presented at a ceremony following the OBA’s upcoming Class Actions Colloquium on December 4, 2024.
